Fav Ride this year was on the road Bike Tob To Tob Via Lochailort /Kilchoan aprox 124 miles.
Starting at Tobermory 'Myself and the Bladder Left our home town and headed for the Lochaline Ferry which we Just made as i was pacing myself and not feeling great .
I could sense his nervous banter trying to sound non plus but realy saying get your self moving yo old Git .
Anyway just mae Lochaline ferry and headed off to Corran Ferry sun was shining and the weather was mild Just perfect .
50 miles gone and we reached the Corran Ferry feeling better than I had when we started .
The Ride round Loch Linnhe was spectacular shaded trees mirror glass reflections hardly any cars the world was our own .
We hit the Main Fort William Mallaig road and it got busier but the surface was good and we sped along and a fast pace .
When we hit Lochailort I was astounded when Stevie said we where stoping for a Magners ...Blood Hell Magners and ice tasted like nectar ....Yum Yum ..Crisps etc ..good .
Feeling Fresher we headed off up the long slog along loch Ailort Glenuig to Acharacle .
Stopping to refuel here an I was feeling abit jaded Ate too much and headed off a briilliant pace then faded badly ..head went down wondering if i would make the last 20 miles to Kilchoan in time for the ferry .
The Heat was realy bad and heading up Camus I was on my last legs butpushing hard Got to say the scenery made up for it ...
Stevie headed on and kept the ferry for me .
I dont think i have ever felt so Knackered but what a pleasant smile was on my face for weeks ,
Dont think this could be beaten.10/10
