Possibly best area have ridden in is around Aviemore area. Plenty trails in area and most of them good quality and mud free. Capercaille can be a hazard though. They have been approved by the illustrious William Blue of Blue route fame. Enough said.

Can't argue with that point as all we were doing was following in his tyre tracks and empty Lucozade bottles and Mars bar wrappers and broken components and Gel packets. Would be different now though.
Go on then 201172 what is your top route? Safely say wasn't a certain day over in LA!

That day in LA could have been worse if We hadn't been wearing our Shimano boots. Only part of us that was warm and dry were our feet. Superb boots.

Yes I agree it was the only part of me warm ..Thinking of buying another pair sems you have to have 2 pairs of boots nowdays ?
