Had a great few days away doing some new routes. Day one was at Arrochar doing a loop round LochSloy which had some big climbs but a stunning technical singletrack run back to the start. Great views from the top of the route surrounded by the Arrochar Alps one time playground of the Keenans I have heard.
Day two was a run round Glentress on the Black and Red routes. This was great fun have to say. Black was not to technical though it had a few wee bits that could give you a fright. The Red was more fun for me have to say. Big climbs though but well worth it but was a bit under biked I think. Could have done with a bit beefier bike. Well worth a visit in my opinion.
Day three saw me in Dunkeld doing a route round GlenGarr. This was proper off road riding on hill tracks and having to do a bit of navigation. The trails were excellent and nice and dry. Was a fair bit of checking maps and a few wrong turns but eventually got to the end with some cracking singletrack round about Dunkeld.
Still plenty more areas to get into yet.
