Posted - 10 May 2007 : 20:17:14 Hello from Balamory The End to end at the momment is Just a Dream ..No takers so far but you never know the thing is aT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR EVERYONE has so much to do ..skinning the visitors and trying to do so many things before winter comes round again you have to realise we live in the north and huddle round candles wraPPED IN SHEEP SKINS while you in the southeren sunny Isles run around in t shirts . It is still running AROUND IN A FEW OF OUR HEADS BONZO so keep fingers cross. You will be more than welcome to come and visit us and we will indeed show you round the island and maybe partake in the Local Brew Sheepmilk beer one of the few places outside Mongolia that brewes it . Bonzo here, a fellow Old Goat & Stevie K's (Manxman2) only mate.
As Steve says, it would be great if any of you guys could make it over for the E2E in September. Youd be made most welcome.
It might be a tad late for this year, but maybe next year we could get a few of us Goats together and come over to your fair isle for a long weekend. 'The Old Goats tour of Mull 2008' has a ring to it I reckon. Maybe you could show us around?
As I say, its a bit early, but Im sure a few of us idiots mountain bikers would love it. |
